Goal Achieved! DCI Team Raised $6K for Virtual Light the Night

Team DCI met 118% of their fundraising goal of $5,000 in this year’s virtual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Triangle Light the Night (held on Oct. 21, 2021) — raising $5,905 to help fund critically needed blood cancer research and awareness.
Approximately every three minutes one person in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
By the end of this year, new cases of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma are expected to account for nearly 10% of the new cancer cases diagnosed in the U.S. this year and 9.5% of cancer deaths.
