UICC Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer Study Grants (YY Grants)

Funding Agency: Union Internationale Contre le Cancer - International Union Against Cancer

The YY grant provides an important opportunity to advance cancer research through international collaboration. Their purpose is to enable cancer investigators from any country to carry out bilateral research projects abroad which exploit complementary materials or skills, including advanced training in experimental methods or special techniques.

Funding Amount: $10,000

Application Deadlines: March 15 and October 15, 2018

Eligibility: Faculty, Junior Faculty, Medical Fellow/Resident, Post Doctoral Fellows

  • Possess appropriate scientific or medical qualifications and a minimum of two years postdoctoral experience
  • Actively engaged in cancer research
  • Have recent publications in the international peer-reviewed literature
