Sexual Health & Intimacy
Sexual health services are available to patients, survivors and their partners through the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program and are offered at no cost.These services include education on the impact of cancer treatments as it relates to sexual health and sex therapy services that address concerns surrounding sexual function, sexual feelings, intimacy and changes in sexual health.
Many people experience changes in sexual health related to a cancer diagnosis. The Duke Cancer Patient Support Program has specialists to help patients individually or patients and their partners with the impact cancer may have on their sexual health. Everyone’s experience is unique and the specialists in cancer patient support work with each individual to provide the best support possible.
