Welcome to Virtual Survivorship Day

Quit at DukeStopping tobacco or even cutting down is a journey with successes and set-backs, and we want to walk with you on that journey.

Many of our patients feel like they have already tried everything out there to quit. If that describes you, don’t be discouraged. We almost certainly have approaches and treatment you have not seen before.

Many of our patients are not ready to quit, but would be willing to cut down or talk about options. If that is you, come on in! We will work with you at your pace and support your goals. We are here for you, wherever you are in the journey.

This video below provides a brief overview of the Quit at Duke program from the program’s medical director, Dr. James Davis. The video details what makes Quit at Duke different than other smoking cessation programs, and what to expect during your visit.

This video introduces the concept of mindfulness as a stress management technique, and includes a brief counting meditation from Megan Keith, a clinical social worker and tobacco treatment specialist with DCI’s Quit at Duke Program.
