How important is it for artists to reflect the times that they are in while connecting with as many people as possible through the work they create and showcase?
Betty Haskin and Melinda Rittenhouse help answer that very question as they team up to install an exhibition of work from Triangle Book Arts (TBA), a collective of artists based across the Triangle of North Carolina.
These intrepid women, book artists themselves, worked to curate several displays throughout Duke University Hospital, in collaboration with Arts & Health at Duke, as a way of giving hope to patients facing difficult procedures there and the healthcare staff that support them.
