Pets at Duke :: Durham
MEET OUR TEAM!
Our Pets at Duke program, established in 1994, has more than 20 handler and dog team volunteers. They provide an average of 10,000 visits a year at locations across our campus, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Children's Hospital, and Duke Cancer Center.
Therapy dogs reside with their owner and complete additional testing on-site before being accepted to the Pets at Duke team. Tour the personal pages of our therapy dogs by clicking on the boxes below.
We Would Love Your Support
Pets at Duke is offered through the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program. This service is available at no charge thanks to the generosity of donors.
Lifting spirits and warming hearts, check out our therapy dogs in action.
