Dent Joins Duke IBC Consortium as Clinical Director
Susan Dent, MD, FRCPC, associate director, Clinical Research, Duke Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Disease Group, and co-director of the Duke Cardio-Oncology Program, has joined the Duke Consortium for Inflammatory Breast Cancer as clinical director. Gayathri Devi, PhD, is the consortium's program director.
Dent joined Duke as a professor in the Dept. of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology, in Sept. 2018.
An expert in breast cancer treatment-related toxicities and cardiovascular health in cancer patients, she's the Duke lead for the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium and current president of the International Cardio-Oncology Society Board of Directors.
