Duke Raleigh Cancer Center To Host Survivorship Day

Duke Raleigh Cancer Center will host its annual Cancer Survivors Day on Friday, June 9, at 5 p.m. in the Duke Raleigh Gardens (adjacent to the cancer center).

The event, designed for patients, their families, friends and caregivers, is a celebration for cancer survivors, a means to inspire and encourage newly diagnosed patients and an outreach to families and caregivers.
Featured activities include a fashion show, photo booth, dance performance, arts and crafts and a butterfly release.

Duke Cancer Institute recently unveiled The Many Faces of Cancer, a photo essay by photographer Jared Lazarus capturing a journey in survivorship. To view this photo essay, please visit The Many Faces of Cancer.
